Q: If you were a superhero, what would your superpower be?
A: Invisibility

Q: Which fictional character would you be most excited to meet in real life?
A: Fred Flintstone

Q: Describe your dream holiday...
A: Since I love Europe, a monthlong holiday driving around the continent – to see the sights, enjoy food and wine, and meet new people would be just right

Q: Who would play you in the movie of your life?
A: Sidney Poitier

Favourite Things

Q: Your favourite cuisine...
A: Italian and Sri Lankan – especially hot crispy roast paan, pol sambol and fried eggs

Q: Any special cocktail or beverage?
A: White wine and Cognac – I enjoy a glass of white wine when I dine

Q: What’s your favourite genre of movies?
A: Comedies – since I prefer the lighter side of life

Q: The theme song of your life would be...
A: Even though the end isn’t near and I’m not facing the final curtain, I can relate to the lyrics of My Way by Frank Sinatra

A: About everything I do – my vehicles, music, and life in the event and entertainment industry

A: Loyal, honourable, professional; and if I may add a fourth – transparent

A: God, my two children and event life

Q: What was the last gift you gave someone?
A: A box of Rémy Martin liquor chocolates to a friend who has finally acquired a taste for wine and Cognac

Q: What’s the best piece of advice you’ve received?
A: To continue to be ethical without compromising my character or profession

A: Laura Pausini, Jennifer Aniston and my father

Q: What’s the best thing about working in the entertainment and events sector?
A: Every happening is a new experience as you keep producing, presenting and managing different events – and working with amazingly talented entertainers and creative people

Q: A little-known fact about you…
A: Many people don’t know that I’m very sensitive and emotional, and not afraid to be in touch with my feelings – though it can be rather embarrassing at times
