Euphoria is back! At least, for a couple of “bridge episode” instalments (as Zendaya – who plays Rue in the hit show – predicted this autumn), the first of which will premiere on 6 December on HBO. And while it’s not quite as enthralling as the much-anticipated second season of the series, which is heavily delayed due to this year’s pandemic lockdowns and has been pushed back until 2021, the cast and creators got inventive in the meantime by capturing two prelude episodes to ensure that Euphoria fans were not left completely empty-handed in 2020. Beyond the Gen-Z dramas, the fallible-yet-lovable characters, and the cast’s stellar performances, one of the standouts of the Emmy-sweeping show is its beauty looks. One contender for the show’s “best make-up” award would surely be Barbie Ferreira’s character Kat Hernandez – and it turns out the actor’s own beauty tendencies are just as bold and brilliant.
