It’s all about shoes

Marilyn Monroe once famously said: “Give a girl the right shoes and she can conquer the world.” Good shoes play a big part in completing any outfit and when choosing your pairs, always keep aesthetics, practicality and versatility in mind.

WOMEN’S SHOES

BLACK PUMPS Nothing takes you from work to weekend quite like a pair of black pumps. Find the pair that suits your personality – one that gives you that perfect mix of comfort and class.

ANKLE BOOTS Whether flat or with a heel, a good pair of ankle boots can take you on an adventure or simply add that soupçon of edginess to your outfit and attitude.

FLAT SHOES It doesn’t matter if they are sandals or ballet flats, a great pair is absolutely essential. Choose tan, nude or soft metallic for versatility.

WHITE SNEAKERS Give any outfit a dash of sporty spice with a classic pair of white sneakers, perfect for those busy days when you need to stay on your feet.

KILLER HEELS These heels give you a lift – both literally and metaphorically; they are perfect for taking your outfit and mood to the next level.

MEN’S SHOES

THE BROGUE The rule of thumb is that the more ‘broguing’ a shoe has the less formal it is. Dark-brown and lighter versions are best for formal occasions.

SUEDE CHUKKA They are an excellent alternative to sneakers for those casual but chic events. Opt for tan or cream.

LEATHER BOOTS A good quality pair of lace up boots provides years of wear.

LOAFERS These are fine for casual and formal looks, and available in a range of colours. Navy and burgundy make interesting additions to any wardrobe.

OXFORDS A black pair can walk you to any formal occasion while tan is fine for casual events.
