BOLD BATIKS
Taking batik to an extraordinary level

These bold prints have taken fabric to another level as the art of batik is being constantly improved with modern designs and colours. This collection was showcased in Calp at the Best Female Model international competition held in Spain’s Alicante Province some time ago.
Ornella and Ishanka are wearing outfits in an abstract design, with orange, brown and grey colours on an off-white background.
Ornella is wearing a jumpsuit with a sweetheart neckline, and Ishanka is modelling a long button-down dress with a Chinese collar and long sleeves. This dress can also be worn with a pair of fitted pants.
The yellow, black and ivory gown that’s worn by Ornella has a deep V neck and flared butterfly sleeves, and is a red carpet must-have.
Visna and Ishanka model ivory coloured dresses with dull gold flowers. Visna is wearing a high-necked dress with exaggerated sleeves and flowing skirt while Ishanka’s is a cold shoulder dress with one fully frilled sleeve.
And Harini is in a cold shoulder gown with a frilled top, and pleated flared skirt in golden-yellow and black.
