The curly bob is the cute cut we keep spotting everywhere. With bob haircuts still set to world-domination mode, we’ve seen numerous renditions taking off. But we love seeing the style paired with beautiful, natural curly and wavy texture. We reckon it adds, dimension, movement and a whole ton of personality to the chop.

If you want to take the chop, Larry advises asking your hairdresser to cut it from wet to dry. “This means they cut the main length wet and then the shape forms as the curls are drying naturally round the face and fringe. Don’t let the hairdresser use thinning scissors because they’ll just create frizz,” says Larry. And although we love frizzy texture, thinning your curls will make them less defined.
How to maintain the curly bob look at home
When styling your curly bob at home, start with wet hair. Larry suggests using a good curl cream like Redken’s Curvaceous Ringlet Anti-frizz Perfecting Lotion and diffusing with a Dyson Supersonic set on a high heat low speed setting. Dry with your head tipped upside down.
